Responsibility is the management skill which should be present in each and every manager. It is the basic people management skill. Responsibility is the ability of a person to set goals and priorities. It is also the ability of a manager to manage time, money and other resources to achieve organizational goals. Responsibility involves accountability for actions taken. Being punctual, attentive and committed to the job displays the level of a person’s responsibility. Maintaining balance between personal needs and work commitments also displays the responsibility of a manager. Responsibility includes working on the issues on priority basis and focusing on critical issues.
